Production
Production is an important part of a media studies course where students can put the theory they have learnt into practice.
Related achievement standards
Students at NCEA levels 2 and 3 commonly produce for assessment any one of the following: short film, television commercial, music video, magazine, newspaper, radio programme, or website. At both levels students can design and produce their own product. The use of technology and the final product are assessed.
